This intereting design is composed of ancient Irish emblems.
In the centre, enclosed by a rich Celtic Scroll, the Four Provinces are depicted, while on the inner border are the Irish Harp, Round Towers, etc.
The corner pieces show three very ancient emblems-St. Patrick's Bell, perhaps the the earliest specimen of metal worn in Christian times, the Cross of Cong, dating from the twelfth century, and the Tara Brooch.
In the end borders is shown St. Patrick's Grave with its Celtic Cross, and in the side borders the Round Tower and Abbey of Timahoe.
