A lovely pair of porcelain salt and pepper shakers, hand painted with twining vines and violets and gilded at the tops
They have an elegant shape, narrow at the tops then flaring out at the bottom bases
Artwork is delicate and so beautifully done, with backgrounds in a pale off-white tone with a brushed matte finish. The gold tops still have very good coverage, with minimal loss.
